History

This
garden was created in the early 1900's by a young
English painter, and spreads over some 6000 sq.
meters.
It
is rich in colors and movement, thanks to water
reflections and distant Mediterranean views. It
is decorated with numerous bulb plants.
This
very romantic garden is a show of ornamental plants
of real botanic value at the same time.
It
is the last garden in Menton to have remained the
private property of a family which have been tending
it with everlasting passion since the beginning
of our century.
William
Waterfield, the actual owner of the garden, still
keeps on trying to acclimate new tropical plants.
